Welcome
From 1st to the 3rd of December 2011, University of Minho received the 4th joint national congress of Microbiology and Biotechnology: Microbiotec11, organized by the Portuguese Society of Microbiology and the Portuguese Society of Biotechnology. During the 3 days of the event, more than 600 participants attended the venue and participated in the scientific program, that included 6 plenary lectures, 21 keynote talks and 39 oral presentations selected from the submitted abstracts. Almost 500 posters were presented and three independent events also took place under the umbrella of Microbiotec. Click here to see a 10min video of the event.
